In this introduction to Audio Electronics course we are going to build a Vactrols based VCA as shown below:
At end of the course, you will be able to understand everything in the above diagram and why they are placed like that.
Here we are going to learn audio electronics from first principles and you will be able to design original designs. Also rather than relying on pure math models, we use approximations and experimentations to find the best sounding design.

This lesson is meant to be used with the Bread Modular Lab Kit. But you can learn the concepts and use them with your own electronics lab setup too.

In order to jump start the process, we are going to use the Bread Modular Lab Kit. It’s a same tool where we make new designs at Bread Modular. With that, you can solely focus on the electronics circuit (or module) you are building.
Use following experimentations to get an idea about the tool.
